Sorry newgirl...bean is right.

Today to be the same. Shorts, convertibles, walks on the beach. Saw so many people

in the garden yesterday I stared to feel guilty that the lawn needed mowing. Go ahead, believe what you want.

Aloha.

Yeah, but you've also got Gordon Campbell. Ya got yer yin; ya got yer yang. If he could figure out a way to tax lawn clippings from January/February, he'd surely be doing it!

and then there's Ottawa....

....and Toronto.....

Calgary? Anyplace that's warmer in March than in July, with a growing season from June 5 to about August 25th, where summer overnight lows are regularly about 10 degrees doesn't work for me. blink.gif

Is it any wonder that the annual real estate cycle in Victoria starts about Feb 15 and goes into overdrive till late June?

Still a bit chilly for my tastes, though!!!

Ah its not all that rosy here on the coast. We've got a real noise pollution problem. Why just this morning I was trying to get a little peace and quiet on my deck with my morning coffee and all I could hear were birds squawking, outboards roaring and lawnmowers buzzing. You easterners would hate it here.

Yes....it can be tremendously annoying to have to cut the lawn in early March.

What really sucks in the first week of March is the reoccuring sound of a softball hitting a bat on the local ball diamond as the little leagues get going...

I hate that noise pollution, I had a guy running his outboard from his dingy three boats over from me this morning while I was polishing my stainless... I almost couldn't hear Rock 101 on my radio while he was idling that thing. Anyway... lunch on the patio at the neighborhood pub was good but its time to take the kids to the park. Winter is finally over and they won't have to wear those bulky nylon wind-breakers until next year. biggrin.gif

Sitting on my patio in my lawn chair with a glass of red wine and a good SF book. Life is good in YYC also. However, I do hope that everyone in the east gets out from under this latest storm unscathed, yes even the Liberal supporters biggrin.gif

Do they make Type 5 yet???

Why yes, I have some right here in my glass. Perfect for looking outside and thanking God I'm not trying to get to work in this.

I have to be careful though, too much gives a wicked holdover.....
