Mitch Cronin
Any of you ex-mil guys ever plop your t-birds, or whatever, down for a burger some place? http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/10/02/...icopter002.html ....hope he doesn't catch heat for that. Seems like a reasonable way to feed the crew. ....and Kenora residents likely loved it.
boestar
Well I run up to wendys in the company van when I get hungry. Why should he not be allowed to "pull over" for a bite in the company chopper.
Kip Powick
The SAR guys out of Gander did it all the time. I only had one complaint from a local "newfie"...he wanted a "quick free airborne look-around"

Called the Air Radio station operator to order 6 Teen burgers from the local A & W to be sent by taxi to the airstrip for us. He pulled up while we were refuelling with sixteen hamburgers. The fueler and the air radio operator were thrilled with their free lunch.
J.O.
Does ordering fresh apple strudel for the entire crew on the way into Salzburg, Austria count?
Hadji Ramjet
We do sometimes drop a Griffon in to the City of Calgary pad on the river and wander down to Eau Claire Market for lunch. Don't think the 'Hooks will fit if and when they arrive though.
RGT
I would rather they do that, then they(we) pay for a taxi to deliver the food to them
