Guest Dash eight
Wow thanks for the link. That is a great paint scheme for Zip and one that should be adopted fleet wide! The tail looks like it is black rather than the "forest" green??

Guest Simcoe
...and 7 months later, the flashy colors devolve into black and white. ZIP'S Flashy Colours Are Evolving As The Airline Grows CALGARY, Jan. 30 /CNW/ - Today, ZIP introduced the evolving look of its growing fleet of 737-200s. Fresh, bright colours have been an integral part of ZIP's identity since its launch. The latest evolution of the ZIP colours is showing up in modified livery that combines white and the solid, bright, ZIP signature colours at the tail. "This is an exciting new transition to our brand. It really communicates the friendly, fresh look of ZIP's expanding fleet," said Michael Rodyniuk, VP Marketing & Sales at ZIP. Beginning February 2, 2003, ZIP's bright colours will be seen in more airports across Canada, including: Victoria, Vancouver, Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, and starting March 2nd, London, Ontario. ZIP passengers in all these cities will experience more passenger leg room than other low cost carriers; advance seat selection; excellent connections to ZIP's network and to codeshare partner Air Canada's network; as well as the ability to accumulate and redeem qualifying miles through the Aeroplan® Rewards Program. Guest Patrick Bergen
No Worries, the easiest way is to browse on your internet explorer to whatever you want to link to. Highlight the address in the address bar at the top of your internet explorer. Then right click on the mouse and select copy. Now, in your poste a response there is the box that says optional line URL. Delete what is in there and right click. Select paste and you are done. Hope it helps. Mitch Cronin
Like the man said... No worries. Thank you Patrick. The best way to post a link is to do just as Patrick said, only since there's a limit on length for the link in the Post a Response box, you can just drop one anywhere in the text of your post. Exactly the same way, copy from the Address line the page url in it's entirety, and paste it in your response... The software here picks it out and places the appropriate HTML coding with it to make it a working hyper-link. Guest Dash eight
Nothing on zips site stating that this is the new scheme... I wonder if it will be replaced shortly by the starburst fruit chew colors that we have all come to hate!
Guest AME
I highly doubt they'll spend the money to paint an aircraft that is destined to be retired before the year is out. :S

wizard
Hey Dash eight when Zip gets some 319's I bet the first one will be black because you only need one coat of black to go over the dark green so the money spent will be on the inside to change the j class to y class seats. ChicoChico
It amazes me that people think this is a "new" Zip paint scheme. The 737s coming out of the mainline fleet have had abbreviated paint schemes before (Tango for example). Even the "new" coloured Zip livery has more to do with an economical way to convert the mainline scheme to Zip. This black and white is obviously a temporary paint job on what is likely an aircraft destined for the boneyard.

Guest blizzard
C-GCPZ (Tail 520) Manufacture date: 9 April 1982 Line Number: 861 This aircraft is not close to being the oldest in the fleet. Also, that registration mark does not appear to have been used previously. I think you are either mistaken about the registration of the aircraft you flew on, or someone gave you erronious information. PS - For those that don't know, the tail is green, not black!
