One part of the article I found odd was the comment

"Chris added: “You can tell by the lighting it is a plane.

“There is also more going on in the control panels than on a ­simulator. It looks a live aircraft.”

Umm....Isn't the point of a simulator, Especially a Modern Simulator like the 777, DESIGNED to mimic the cockpit EXACTLY right down to the lighting and stuff "going on in the control panels"

Judging by the phraseology of the article, it was written by a 12 year old boy.

To a point... but even the most modern sim can't be 100% accurate to the airplane by virtue of its design: a massive enclosed  box on hydraulic or electric actuators inside a big building.

Daytime settings utilize artificial light (miniature floods) that really doesn't make it feel like daytime. 

Regardless of sim or airplane, "dude is messed".
