boestar
Quite interesting for sure. Now if the cost could be reduced SIGNIFICANTLY then you have something.
Kip Powick
Bovine excrement............I'm, sure just about everyone of us commoners can cough up 1.7 million just so we don't pollute Time for a reality check...it will sell as a toy for those "supposedly" being environmentally conscientious...like Leonardo DiCaprio... DEFCON
But Kip, this car is a for sale technology demonstrator, the expensive first step to the future of truly cheap and unlimited clean energy. I'm pleased to see it reach the street and I sincerely hope the masses of well-heeled professionals from every walk of life that operate sophisticated and expensive aircraft today all purchase and show off this very cool toy. Those of us that aren't too old yet will get the chance to experience the technology in some form, or other, and in the not so distant future. DEFCON
Sorry to disagree Boestar, but they really have something now! When you consider the reality; water has become the fuel, no matter the very early current price, this is game changing technology that most thought impossible. acsidestick
Sorry Tesla, it's time to dump your stock. If this isn't an Onion or Frank magazine joke, it changes everything. This will have a bigger effect on the world than the internet.Remember, the first Model T was completely unaffordable by most Americans until for released the Model A, at more than half as much. The application for Power Generation, Ships, maybe planes is exciting to think about, however, I'm sure Imperial Oil won't be too happy about it. boestar
The Flow Cell technology is not new. This is an improvement on the technology. Apparently it requires complex controllers to keep it working. It is also heavy.
Say Again, Over!
Or maybe, just maybe... the guy is a total fraud. He once fooled investors into paying for a solar cell covered car, the Solar Quant, and rigged the test so that the output would be more "appealing". The judge dismissed the case as he decided the investors had not exercised due diligence.Yeah, maybe he's on to something. But maybe not.http://www.saabsunited.com/2009/06/the-curious-case-of-the-koenigsegg-nlv-solar-quant.html
deicer
To get back to Mitch's original intent of the thread, once again, Jon Stewart brilliantly shoots down and surmises the issue and the ignorance south of the border....
