conehead
Where were you when you watched the moon landing?Nine years old, camping with family at The Pinery on Lake Huron, Dad took us into town to see it. I remember standing on a sidewalk looking through the window of a shop that sold tv's, watching Neil Armstrong take that "one small step"... I remember looking up at the moon that night... it was so inspiring!
J.O.
Where were you when you watched the moon landing?I was just shy of 8 years old and we were at home on the farm watching it on our tiny Zenith TV. I sat on the floor right up front and will never forget the moment. I'm sure my mouth was wide open in awe. We were clapping and cheering like the Leafs had just won the cup. Funny, after all these years, they still haven't.
Moon The Loon
At home, 16 years old, with family and neighbours in living room, watching on old Philips B&W (pre-cable, pre-converter ... words unintelligible to all but a few on this board!). Won't ever forget it. Let's not forget Buzz, the silver medalist!
