Good plan.  A bit late though.

better late than never and it appears to be in step with the announced increase of vacation flights during the next few months.

How much summer travel business did we lose?  I met quite a few who wanted to go somewhere but were put off by the unavailability of travel Insurance.

Medipac insurance (Often called snowbird insurance) here in Canada has been providing Covid insurance since June.  In fact I think they were the only insurance company that didn’t force people home in the spring.  If you were out of country you were covered for the agreed term.

I like them because of the way my Dad was treated when he had a blood clot in AZ.  Even the Dr commented that they are one of the better insurance companies to deal with. Some insurers say no to just about everything making you wonder why you bothered buying it in the first place.  As Canadians we are not used to an insurance company having to sign off on everything a Dr recommends.  It’s an eye opener.

Back in my medivac days they were the best insurer to deal with. Their booking and aircraft selection process was thorough and took proper consideration of the patient and their medical needs during transport, not just the cost. They paid their bills in a timely fashion too, something that was not very common among the insurers at that time.

apparently those that could not travel decided to build decks and sheds.  The is a very large shortage of pressure treated lumber that has been going on for a few months.
