Great Airline Commercial

I miss the glamour days when you had to walk across the ramp and climb the stairs to board an airplane. It was exciting and gave folks a sense of marvel about what they were about to experience. People don't even see the airplane anymore or hear the sounds of the airport. They just see cramped movie theatre seats and the lineup in the bridge.

Of course I expect there were less than ideal days when the glamour was replaced with cursing about the weather and the airline dolts who forced them to cross to the plane in snow. rain, wind etc..

I still miss those days at YTZ where you stepped of the plane and were awed by the amazing view of the Toronto shoreline and the 'skyscrapers'. That always impressed the heck out of me.

Are there any airports where people still cross the ramp? Hawaii? The Caribbean?
