Guest Ray Darr
>>>...AND ...the sign said: "Long-haired, Freaky-people need not apply"<<< ...sometimes it works. However, I too cringe when I hear that pesky habitual "And..." on our freq's. Save it for the good tunes, like above! Here's the challenge: Next time y'all hear someone mumble "And..." on their transmission, someone else jump in and finish their thoughts by simply saying "long-haired freaky people" and I bet we can eventually rid the radios of this annoyance! (If you don't "get it" ...ask one of us that is slowly going grey and you might understand afterwards.) :-D ~R.D.

dragon
Now, why didn't I think of that.. excellent Ray. Only too bad I suppose that at that point, "and..." you couldn't cut in like the Bell operator to finish the song.. How about TC employ a radio Nazi? Kip Powick
Well Radar, at first glance it sounds like a good plan but when you consider that two people transmitting at the same time, on the same frequency normally results in one high pitched "pig squeal" you will probably hear.. "and...uh....say again over"
Guest Ray Darr
Of course, those "in the know", Kipper, would know better and would wait to pounce upon said victim only after the other transmission was done. Happy bubbles, SCUBA 1 .........oooOOO0000*** :-) ~R.D.
Guest Ray Darr
Of course, those "in the know", Kipper/SCUBA 1, would know better and would wait to pounce upon said victim only after the other transmission was done but that squealing is subject enuff for another thread another day.
