Mitch Cronin
Bingo! Chico's got it. The mod was called a "Texas Taildragger" ... There's someone around here who knows that very bird (other than me)... I was hoping to flush him out Fun airplane to play in... Sure taught me a few things about landing that I couldn't seem to get with a tri-gear config.

Mitch Cronin
Yikes! CofR cancelled in '82... I wonder wha'happened to her?
Check Pilot
Cancellation of the C of R usually means the aircraft has been exported out of Country and Registered in a foreign State. That's most of the time. On rare occasions the Registration is cancelled because the aircraft has been destroyed. The destruction of an aircraft would have to be so severe that it included the loss of the data plate as well.
Mitch Cronin
Hmmmm... Thanks CP... I'll take it that means it was exported, since I'm pretty sure I would have heard if it was detroyed that badly. Cheers,
HHI
Yikes! CofR cancelled in '82... I wonder wha'happened to her? Mitch, Any chance this might be her? With a "cool" paint job? Cheers, Henry
CD
Any chance this might be her? Nope, that's not her. N2988J has a s/n of 15065788. C-GNCI has a s/n of 15076487. That serial number is not listed in the FAA database... FAA Aircraft Inquiry Site
