boestar
Is there anywhere I can see a map of what areas the different controllers monitor? for example what are the boundaries of the Arrival controller, tower, Area etc.
mo32a
Terminal Area Chart would give you pretty much everything you need.
Say Again, Over!
Boestar,These maps are updated every once in a while as procedures are amended and are not published as such since they are an internal thing; they are not described in the DAH. Some terminal areas use a shared airspace concept where the arrival and departure controllers will have their own sandbox but go through the rest of the airspace while watching what the other guy is doing. Enroute sectors usually are segregated and nobody goes in without talking to that particular controller. I can get you a map on ZUL's sectors if you'd like. PM me an e-mail address.Felix

boestar
Thanks for the info guys. It was just a curiosity thing while I was following my wifes flight back from the UK. Was just wondering who was handling them at different points on the route
