Pilots of taxiing aircraft?Without going into any detail, the securing of a perimeter and its contents requires a LOT more than an unmonitored chain link fence. Security resources are allocated on the basis of certain criteria. I think this form of ‘system failure’ can be attributed to the process of funding allocations? It’s likely the ‘authorities’ place a higher priority on spending to provide the illusion of personal security inside, versus that necessary to securing truly vulnerable areas of concern; i.e., the ‘airport perimeter’ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
