Kip Powick
VANCOUVER/TORONTO — The use of a taser did not cause the cardiac arrest that killed Robert Dziekanski during a confrontation with four Mounties at Vancouver International Airport last year, B.C.'s Crown office said Friday as it ruled out charges against the officers. “There is a substantial body of independent evidence ........full story here... Mitch Cronin
What a sham. What a terribly sad whitewash. “The force they used to subdue and restrain him was reasonable and necessary in the circumstances,” What a line of crap! We all saw the video tape... How can anyone say that? Five times they used the damned taser. ...including twice while the guy was already restrained on the ground. 31 seconds worth of incredible ZAP... watch the second hand on a clock while you consider that!... "reasonable and necessary"? BS!
conehead
Yeah, I watched it again yesterday. Sick. The taser didn't cause his death? It sure as hell didn't help! And some wonder why some people hate cops.
Canus Chinookus
and how could they forget the little tidbit about how as the cops walked by the guy with the camcorder you could hear one asking if he could be the one to taser Dziekanski! You call these professionals? Planning in advance to taser a guy before they even see what's going on?
