Perhaps he left because he did not judge the value of one’s life by being on the ACPA seniority list. The concept of "blood money" is an established one in the Middle East and is but one of the major cultural differences that exists. We all, at least I think we do, would rather that the killing of innocents not happen but when it does financial compensation at least helps the survivors.
