CanadaEH
I've noticed that the three or four pictures of Westjet's winglets were pulled from two airline websites (www.airliners.net and jetphotos.com). Does anyone know why?
Guest YWG Flyer
I think there was some confusion with WJA as to whether or not they were allowed to post the pics from inside the HGR... possibly prior to WJA's official pics being released. CanadaEH
Actually.. the story is this: The two people who took the pictures were invited to attend and were given permission to take pictures of the newly wingletted aircraft. There was a misunderstanding after the pictures were posted online between the photographers and Westjet in that no permission was given to post the pictures online. Westjet requested that the pictures be taken down. The two photographers had a relationship with Westjet that they felt did not need to be damaged due to one mistunderstanding. No worries though, more pictures will be surfacing in the future!

Guest M. McRae
Great pictures. In the headon shot the aircraft looks like a bird. I suggest the designation be changed to "737-Seagull"
conehead
I saw the aircraft taxi in YYZ a few days ago. Very strange looking bird.
