conehead Posted July 18, 2023 Share Posted July 18, 2023 It is kinda weird that it departed the aircraft at that late stage in flight, but I've seen it happen before. It's a 767 off-wing slide. We had one come off an AC departure from YVR once, it landed in the drink. Notice in the video when they deploy it, there is a blow-down mechanism that lowers that spoiler just before the slide deploys. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
