The Chief Pilot of the Canada’s National Airline was about to start the morning by briefing some of his Check Pilots .

While waiting for the coffee machine to finish brewing, the Chief Pilot decided to pose a question to all assembled.

He explained that his wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he failed to get his usual amount of sound sleep.

He posed the question of just how much of sex was "work" and how much of it was "pleasure?"

Captain Rick O’Shay,  Check Pilot for the B-787  chimed in with 75%-25% in favor of work.

Captain Roger Ramjet , Check Pilot for the B-777 said it was 50%-50%.

Captain Lawer Payd,  Check Pilot for the Embraer responded with 25%-75% in favor of pleasure, depending upon his state of inebriation at the time.

There being no consensus, the Chief Pilot turned to the Flight Attendant who was in charge of making the coffee and asked for his opinion.

Without any hesitation, the young Flight Attendant responded,

"Captain, it has to be 100% pleasure.

The Chief Pilot was surprised and as you might guess, asked why?

"Well, Captain, if there was any work involved, the pilots would have me doing it for them."

The room fell silent.

The Outdoorsman...

During his physical, the doctor asked Eric, the patient, about his daily activity level.

He described a typical day this way:

"Well, yesterday afternoon, I waded along the edge of a lake, drank eight beers,

escaped from wild dogs in the heavy brush, marched up and down several rocky hills,

stood in a patch of poison ivy, crawled out of quicksand, jumped away from an aggressive rattlesnake

and took four leaks behind big trees." Inspired by the story, the doctor said, "You must be one hell of an outdoors man!"

"No," he replied, "I'm just a lousy golfer."
