Does any one have ACs scheduled flight and load factor information? They are flying and loads are not horrible on what is operating from what I can see. all things considered.

I hope they set aside some of the startup money for the Disney lawsuit.
Also, what is this magical system that allows the aircraft to be tracked in real time? Whatever it is, sounds very useful. I'm surprised more airlines aren't interested in knowing where their aircraft actually are in "real time".
ADS-B Which is pretty much mandatory now

I'm not aware of any restrictions unless AC has agreements with particular local or provincial governments to provide a given service. I suspect I would have heard about such agreements by now if there were any.
my mistake. I was under the impression that the clause was in there to continue to provide air services to rural communities. Must be confusing it with something else.

The Route Cancellations were / are a direct Jab at the government and a pressure point to achieve a goal or opening up the travel sector.
AC is saddled with the requirement to serve many of these un profitable routes. The do no choose to fly these routes, they are mandated to under law. Withdrawing the service applies pressure on Trudeau to make the necessary changes to get us flying again. (by US I mean all airlines). Calin isn't stupid by any means and he is applying pressure where it hurts.

I’m going to assume that spin wasn’t in the plan!
you would be amazed what happens on test flights. Especially test flights designed to test the flight envelope of the aircraft. For example. I know a certain business jet will lose its aft lavatory service panel when the aircraft exceeds Mach 1.02.

Well one of our crews was returned to YYZ on a 737 Max a week or so ago
-
and it has been operating flight on the MAX back and forth to MZJ for some time shuttling pilots home from parking 767s and the like.

Low altitude in a chopper is a scary place to be. Air does some pretty dramatic stuff when you force it at the ground (water).

I hope they keep it that way. During peak periods pearson is mess if you are trying to pick someone up.

I find it interesting that when I follow some of the cargo flights on Flighttracker and other sites there seems to be little correlation between scheduled and actual arrival times. And that;'s not just AC - it seems everyone is leaving early and arriving early on long-haul flights. I's less so with regular flight numbers, like AC873, but with 7000-series flights, it's as if the bus leaves as soon as the load is in - then dash home.
I guess takeoff slots are rather fluid these days, unless you are in Shanghai.
easier to beat sched when you don't have to deal with passengers.

the one he does on the parking ticket always makes me laugh.

Any procurement project in this country is riddled with BS politics. The two parties are so diametrically opposed to one another that it's amazing anything happens at all.
Procurement of assets like aircraft should be carried out by a selected group of Experts in the field (be it military or civilian or whatever) The political parties should remain clear of any decisions until a clear winner is declared. Then the procurement contracts and details cen go ahead. Again the politicians should remain clear of the process.
look at the F-35 debacle or is it F-18, or Grippen, or ...... Get the point. Politicians cannot make decisions only debate possibilities.

Still sweet to able to just cruise into YYZ with no traffic.

I watched a video of a guy who does 3 low approaches, 1 each at LGA, EWR , JFK. At no other time could you pull that one off.

same as other business jets just bigger. I have seen some pretty impressive interiors over the years. Seen some god awful ones too

Those aircraft were already slated to depart the airline. the process was accelerated because it is a good time to do it.

Interesting note when you watch the cars spew flames.
Years ago I worked for a guy that bullds Rally cars. in order to reduce Turbo Lag they reprogram the ECU to inject fuel and spark on the EXHAUST stroke. This keeps the exhaust pressure high and therefore keeps the turbo spinning. Noisy as hell but fun to watch.

This is real low level "flying".
I just don't understand why spectators stand so close to the action....as you will see a few times in this video
That is the thrill of watching Rally Driving. You can't do that in Canada anymore they post barriers. Unless you walk a couple of miles to a secluded spot. In Europe you get right into the action, sometimes literally. Its all about heart rate.

and now he will buy a bunch of shares and watch them creep back up in price. Smart move maybe.
