Guest beauzo Posted August 28, 2003 Share Posted August 28, 2003 All families whose place of residence has been destroyed by the fires in the Kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops regions are eligible for complimentary round trip travel from these BC communities to any Canadian destination served by Jazz or Air Canada. Complimentary travel is available for booking effective August 27 and must be completed by September 30, 2003. Passengers are only required to pay the applicable taxes and surcharges. Eligible families and individuals whose homes have been destroyed are advised to contact their local British Columbia Provincial Emergency Program Office (PEP) for further information. Jazz and Air Canada are also coordinating efforts with the Red Cross and providing complimentary travel to fly relief Red Cross staff to the areas affected by the fires.
