Super 80 Posted August 5, 2003 Author Share Posted August 5, 2003 I can't wait to see one in person, I think US Airways (mainline) is getting theirs starting in November. Anyone know when Embraer is taking one to YUL to show Air Canada for the Star Alliance evaluation? The Embraer 190 is a death sentance for the A318, 736 and MD-95/717 and the Embraer 170 is really going to threaten the CRJ. Unfortunately I think Bombardier is in the same boat as Boeing. They sat on their ass while they were number one and now Embraer has blown right past them as Airbus blew right past Boeing and they having nothing to show except computer renderings of vapor planes.
