YTR to YUL via the St Lawrence, Ottawa River to YOW, then the Rideau Canal to Kingston, left turn, and into 1000 Islands for the rest of the summer. Out of the Rideau system on 09 Aug so we missed all the work stoppages. One of our boating friends was down in 1000 Islands, from Big Rideau Lake, and he gave up trying to get home. Left his boat in Gananoque for the winter. Weather wasn't all that good, (anywhere in Ontario), but it was a wonderful summer. FLAPSFORTY ... Be kind eh...
