Travel Question

An easy one. I assume retirees can access ETS to list for pass travel thru AC Life.

Can a retiree access myidtravel thru ETS or is access restricted to persons entitled to use zed fares; ie.. active employees.

If access is not blocked to non-active employees such as retirees, what prevents retirees from obtaining and using an Id-90 (other than the general rules and the carriers demand for proof of employment)?

I should clarify that my posting was definitely NOT a request for guidance on how best to circumvent AC employee travel pass policies.

It arose from a discussion about the consequences of retirement. If "we" retired and used an "award" to travel to (for example) Sydney, could we use id travel (ZED) on an OAL to continue our trip.

Who better to ask than the informed retired participants on this forum?

Yes, retirees can use ZED fares. Not sure if all airlines accept us, but we're definitely allowed to use them. I had asked this of the Employee Travel team not long ago. This was their reply:
