Here's one we don't see every day

This is from the CADORs. Thankfully only a few cuts and bruises, but it had potential for more.

The privately owned Beaver RX 550 ultralight was nearing its home strip near Bowden, AB when the engine (Rotax 503) began to run roughly. The pilot elected to conduct a precautionary landing on a road in front of his residence rather than risk flying over the house to his private strip. As he was taxiing into his driveway, the aircraft was struck between the engine and the pilot by a motorcycle. The ultralight was destroyed. The pilot and motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries.
