conehead
Jones said he doesn't expect Trinity Time to try to scuttle the repayment schedule because it doesn't affect the airline's value and would "produce an immediate reduction of an existing liability on their balance sheet." In my opinion, screwing with our pension plan would definately affect the airline's value. How much value will this airline have if all of the employees are so &%$@! off that they don't care if the ship sinks or floats? Again, just my opinion. Guest Tri-spool
I think that what is even more interesting is the fact that the pension issue is rearing its ugly head just as ACPA, ALPA-Jazz and AC are deciding how the RJ issue will be resolved. My take is that the company will be using the pension issue to leverage the RJ issue. They are pretty good at "dazing & confusing"! Let's watch this one carefully! Just my take!
