Guest rphydro
Do any of you know what the height restriction (if any) for pilots flying the CF-18? Also, what is the restricting factor, is it space in the cockpit, or ejection seat function, etc? rp
Guest Marion Vanderlubbe
67 cm back-to-knee length. There is also a restriction on the Hawk, but I'm not sure what exactly it is (height, weight or both).
Guest rphydro
Thanks for the info. Anybody know what the restriction is for the Hawk? rp
Guest gunny12
Apparently a very similar seat to the Hornet in the Hawk. You can't get to either with out going through the Harvard, which has a 271 lb limit. Plus lots more room than the Hawk.....
DEFCON
If you have a body height of 6'4" or less you should be fine. Knee to hip length has a maximum value although I don't recall what it is.
