Guest Fleet80 Posted October 14, 2003 Share Posted October 14, 2003 I'm surprised there's been no discussion yet about AC (apparently) rescinding 50 of the announced pilot layoffs. Heard this yesterday on the crew bus, letters have gone out confirming this positive move. On the rumour front, R. Giguere is quoted as saying "we're laying off for sure 200, but over that is still in question." Can any of the pilots on the dreaded furlough list confirm or clarify? Thanks. Take it for what it is worth. Some rumours have a funny way of becoming fact, some don't. Fact is, look at how much 1900 flying vs D8 flying is on the winter sched.
