Trader Posted September 2, 2003 Share Posted September 2, 2003 Many pilots in this country passed through Hick & Lawrence at some point in their careers and had the privalege and luck to work for a great man- Duane Hicks Sr. Without a doubt he was one of the most generous men I have ever know. I flew TBM for them in the early 80's and they treated me 100% Became friends with Duane and his dad Merv. Bought a Pawnee from them in July and paid for it in Oct. They even sent me the registration in my name all done by phone. Honest men who belived in people. Duane will be missed. A great person and Aviator.
