Guest neil in england Posted September 1, 2003 Share Posted September 1, 2003 funny thing, that report never mentions anything about the time of the day for the two pilots (bottom of their alertness cycle, based on the UTC given, I'd say)or what their duty was the previous days, months....in fact, if one wanted to get to the bottom of the cause, I'd say it was probably linked to tiredness caused by Canada's poor duty time rigs which are, without a doubt, the biggest joke in the world airline industry... cheers, Neil in England... On the other hand, trying to figure out the CAA/JAA rest periods when acclimatised or not, extended duty, split duty, yadda yadda, the Canadian system is pretty easy to understand!
