Guest Dash eight
Driving past the other side of YYC yesterday and couldnt help but notice several Dash8s in various stages of completeness as well as a couple of Atr42s with what appeared to be air force type blue cheatlines on them? Who owns these and what is to become of them??
Guest ECB
I think Avmax owns them or is refurbishing them for resale. 3 of the white Dash 8s, CIZ,AAC & AAN were origionally Air Atlantic although QK & WJ (Air Labrador) operated AAN. The ATR-42s are ex American Eagle although there was an ex Continental Express in there as well. Some of the other Dash 8s look like ex US Air (Allegheny Express) machines. Super 80
I don't know if we are talking about the same planes, but Field Aviation has some Dash-8's parked at YYC,
Guest CYYR
ANN is being refurbished by AVMAX in YYC to come back to Air Labrador, it will be painted in the new Air Labrador blue. Air Labrador will take pocession of the machine on August 31 and operate it on routes in Newfoundland and Labrador. CYYR
