Guest ex-SkyGeek
Interesting bit of news. Way to go HMY! Excerpt from YVR Sun: Vancouver-based HMY Airways has signed a bilateral agreement with China Airlines to provide Taiwan's flag carrier with connections to HMY's North American destinations. Under the arrangement -- effective immediately -- HMY will be able to take China Airlines passengers from Taipei onward to Toronto, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas. On a seasonal basis, HMY, the charter carrier privately owned by Vancouver tycoon David Ho, can also offer connections to Mexican sunspots, such as Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Cancun and Mazatlan. Other HMY links in the works include Miami, Florida; Anchorage, Alaska; and Manchester, England. "We'll be bringing in new fresh tourist dollars through Canada," said HMY senior vice-president Jeffrey Chu, fresh back from Taipei after concluding what is officially known as a bilateral interline traffic agreement with China Airlines. "That's our intention." Cont'd: http://www.canada.com/vancouver/vancouversun/story.asp?id=ED9A2642-3041-4E82-B84D-76CD689CCFBC

Moon The Loon
How is HMY doing with its application for ETOPS? Do they have an approved maintenance program yet? Is KFC still doing their heavy maintenance? Heres wishing them all the best of fortunes!
Guest Canfly
The YYZ link is great and will likely work out well but China AIrlines already serves LAX and ANC on their own so there may be some additional spin here.
