Guest ah crap
My wife came back from Timmins yesterday afternoon with the info that from now on if she doesn't have the time to drive she doesn't go. Her diaper bag and our son posed so much of a risk it was emptied and swabbed while another lady was hauled off to the washroom and strip searched. My mother in law says the door was left open about a foot so everyone could see what was going on.
Seeker
I believe the part about swabbing the diaper bag but not the part about the bathroom strip search. BTW, how long is the drive to Timmins?
Guest 6to8mos
Dont let her drive, its deadly on the highway, check the stats. Invasive searches are a pain and a waste of resources, write to Collonette, and never vote liberal.
Guest Airmail
Amazing how in the U.S., secondary searches have been discarded as a useless procedure while the brains at CATSA have now started conducting random secondary searches over a year after the US TSA started doing it...no doubt CATSA will follow the US TSA's lead and decide the secondary searches are useless in about 10 months time. Where did that $24 security surcharge go again?
