Guest WA777
After looking at the GTAA ops screens and all the AC cancelations, you have to wonder whether AC is being cut out of the deice rationing...? Anybody know?
Beth
Actually, if you go to the GTAA site and check arr/dep you will see that it is everyone...
Frosty
Reason for all the cncld flts was that CDF did not have enough fluid on hand to service even a reduced schedule. Totals for the am were very low and average spray was using around 3,000 l Frosty
dagger
Westjet talked about a lot of delays and cancellations in Central Canada... Was there a glycol shortage in Hamilton, too?
aBusDriver
Considering that Air Canada provides approx. 2/3 of the traffic at YYZ, I don't think that it would be very wise for the GTAA to play that game.
Guest flyingreaper
If the GTAA would have invested in an infared de-ice system instead of the enviromentally destructive glycol everybody would have been de-iced today (but they might have ran out of type 4 with all our luck) the added bonous of infared is that it costs apx. 1/8th the cost of a glycol spray and is quicker also.
