Guest ken hickerson Posted November 24, 2001 Share Posted November 24, 2001 effective december 9 the allotted positions will be held by the most senior people in that catagory on the base. They may not have the training yet, but they will receive the leads pay. The llat1 and llat2 are just natural progressions, probably after 1 or 2 years. The senior managers on the base will be involved with the implementation of the lead position, so I would recommend that you(and anyone else who is concerned) make time in the next few days to talk to that manager or his partner. This will be the only chance that we as employees give an imput into the day to day workings of what a lead will do. What will the typical leads' day be like? you must have some idea...will he be exactly like an ICC? will he be an ACTIVE working member of the 'team' or will he just be some fat old guy sitting on his flat butt giving job direction to people who have been self directed for the last few decades?
