DEFCON Posted February 12, 2018 Share Posted February 12, 2018 Re ties: As I recall; in the seconds following the crash at Dryden as the flames closed in, one of the pax found himself trapped by his tie, which had become ensnared in tangled metal. Worse, the harder he tried to pull himself free, the tighter the thing became. Finally, with the incentive of certain death licking at his feet, he rallied and with all his might managed to 'tear' himself free and escape. He vowed to wear clip on's from that day forward.
