Kip Powick
Makes one wonder....poor rubber... or lead feet ??? ATLANTA, Ga. - A blown tire forced a Delta passenger plane to return to the gate at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Thursday night.A Delta spokesperson says Flight 72 was taxiing to the runway for its departure to Dayton, Ohio when the tire blew. But as the DC-9 turned around, it lost three more tires.A decision was made to stop the aircraft and have the passengers exit through the back of the plane. Delta then had to find other flights to accommodate them.No injuries were reported.

Ex 9A Guy
Sounds like fuse plugs given that all four tires blew in short order. Maybe a quick turnaround after a high energy landing. Good to see no-one was hurt.
