Kip Powick
On the same day three dead pilots turned up at the coroners lab….., all had very big smiles on their faces. The Chief of Police happened to enter the office and noticed the bodies and asked the coroner what happened. The coroner explained to the Chief: 'First body is an Air Canada retiree, aged 61 who died of heart failure while with his mistress. Hence the enormous smile.' 'Second body is a Skyservice pilot aged 49 who won second prize in Lotto 649, spent it all on booze, died of alcohol poisoning, hence the smile.' The Chief asked, 'What of the third body?' 'Ah,' says the coroner, 'This is the most unusual one. Danny Earl age 31, a West Jet pilot, struck by lightning.' 'Why is he smiling then?' inquired the Chief. 'Thought he was having his picture taken.
