Kip Powick
And of course CAW adds its two cents at the end of the article. Meanwhile, the Canadian Auto Workers union, which represents customer service representatives and crew schedulers at the airline and has already said it will make no more concessions, told members in an e-mail message Wednesday that estimates it has heard from the company of the shortfall for which they are responsible have ranged from $15-million to $25-million. Guest k99
I highly doubt that the CAW is only reponsible for only 15 to 25 Million! I've been told the union which is closest to the target is ACPA and that they are only 15 Mil short. That leaves 185 Mil to be spread over the other unions. The last article that I read even the IAM was saying that if these short comings are true then they would make up all of it to the last cent but, that they would give no "new" concessions. Seems to me that it's starting to get a little lonely over there in CAW land.
ChicoChico
..CUPE apparently doubts the company's figures about how much they missed their target. Maybe we could have an arbitration to determine who's right
