As a Canadian, and a proud one...

Don't mean to be harsh here Mitch but wrapping Air Canada in the flag and expecting some kind of bailout that no-one else received in the past doesn't sit well with myself and many others. How can you expect someone else to throw money at a corporation that is still operating in the red while in CCAA when the employees are unwilling to accept some of the risk. If the employees feel so strongly that it is worth saving than perhaps they should accept the financial risks of a defined contribution plan like most others in the country. It seems TTI, the taxpayers or anyone other than an Air Canada employee should assume the financial risk of keeping this so called icon of Canada afloat. If the employees are serious than bite the bullet and do something about it instead of looking for a bailout. I say employees not unions. The unions work for the employees and not the other way around so union actions reflect nothing less than the employee's wishes.

You sir, are evidently speaking out of your butt. Do you have any clue how many employees have indeed been trying to do something?... Nope, you're clueless. So it wouldn't "sit well" with you to see our jobs salvaged eh? Well doesn't that make you a fine specimen of humanity.

Good night ace, have a good sleep.
