dagger
All the more stupid, then, that we can't get a J-T Okanagan wine in Ontario. We do get a few BC wines in Ont, but the choice seems to be left entirely to the Liquor Control Board, a gigantic monopoly, by the way, with similar pretentions to grandeur as the airport authority here in Toronto. Why, one begs to ask, does a government monopoly have to give Air Miles for purchases? To be more beloved. To stamp out future competition if the province privatizes the enterprise? To justify their monopoly pricing? It boggles my mind.
