ModerateChop Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 I was out at Carp (YRP) airport this afternoon and witnessed the landing of a Continental DC-10. The aircraft arrived from Mojave at around 16:30 EDT. They did a nice job of putting it down on the 4000 X 100 foot runway. Quite the sight from our vantage point just a few hundred feet off the side of the runway. The aircraft is going to be used for training by the RCMP. YRP is located around 12 miles west of Ottawa.
