Kip Powick
It would seem that some are adding postings with a link to another site, however in many cases the link does not work. After you have added your post to the board, please try the link to make sure it works. You can even do that when you "preview" a pending post....if it doesn't, then please delete the message and start over. I am sure our hosts would appreciate it if bandwidth was used judiciously.....Thanks
Guest Nobias
Just out of curiosity, which links have you seen that don't work? I haven't noticed much of a problem.
Kip Powick
Well, rather than searching all the postings, I'll throw out this one example....As posted... http://http://www.airdisaster.com/index.shtml One merely has to modify it to get it to work but as it stands it does not work, or at least not with IE6. Guest AME
Kip If you ignore the link "Box" and simply cut and paste the link into the text of a message http://www.airdisaster.com/index.shtml it works every time
Kip Powick
Agree Brett, as that is what I do. I have found that the "Optional Link URL" box doesn't work some of the time. Much easier to indicate what the link is and just "cut and paste" into your posting
