Financial Guy
Has anyone upgraded to Sympatico's Ultra High Speed service? If so, what do you think? I'm currently using their High Speed service, but thinking of upgrading to the Ultra High Speed, and I'm curious as to whether it is worth the extra $25 or so a month. Thanks in advance. Kip Powick
According to my sources...my son, the IT guy..... it is not worth it. Apparently the difference is not that great and only crazed computer geeks looking for that extra millisecond feel it is worth it.... Mind you this is just one opinion from a guy who would not purchase WinXP for himself until after it had been out for awhile cause he feels it is better not to upgrade until the majority of bugs are "outted", and he runs 4 different OS at his office. Financial Guy
Thanks Kip. I guess I'll stay with what I have for now. Cheers.
Guest ThinFin
Sympatico has upgraded their High Speed Service significantly in the last two months, at least in Ontario. I went from 975 mb/s to 1.4 mb/s. This equates to downloading a 1 Meg file in about 6 sec. and no extra charge, at least not yet! Not a bad bang for my buck! Cheers; Fin
Guest Crow
It is more useful for those who rely on up/downloading massive amounts of data for work each day.
