Guest Dash eight Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 The Lancaster from CWH dropped into London around 520 this evening to clear customs? The landing left something to be desired as there was a crosswind and she was heavy handedly bounced on the right wheel first. Especially considering the fact that these warbirds don't get flown very frequently so the pilot probably was a touch rusty with this machine. Would you be able to do better? I know I couldn't. We were at the building box at that time buying supplies. What runway did they use? I'm right in line with 27. When you're on final and pass over the Timmy's, you're over my house.
