John S.
....that times are really not as they were. I just dropped my wife off at the airport for a flight to Kelowna. When we pulled into the domestic departure area of YVR there were a total of three cars dropping off passengers - one cab and two private vehicles. It was the first time ever that I was able to pull over to the curb to let out a passenger. I was half tempted to go in and check that the airport was open for business. But then several more cars started to arrive. In the two minutes it took for the good-by hugs & kisses all the curb space was filled with departing passengers. But I was still able to pull out with-put weaving around cars and cabs parked three deep. In fact it was so slow that the traffic commissioneer was casually supporting a wall with his back side in a most comfortable pose. Yes, the times at YVR have certainluy changed.
