groundeffect
Luckily for you...not 'viewed' by a colonoscope. Hoho.
Pierre Garneau
Hi TTF, This is not an uncommon condition, especially for the over 50s. Should not be a problem for your aviation medical/licensing either. The drug of choice is Pantoloc in doses of 1 or 2 pills per day. It is however important to get proper diagnosis and treatment. A stomach ulcer can cause reflux like symptoms, and this is something that a gastro-intestinal specialist can identify through tests, and scoping. If a reflux condition with acute throat burning sensation is left untreated, severe esophogeal problems can arise. Email me if you need more information. Regards.
