allwayscold
I was just wondering if anybody knows anyone or has had themselves there gall bladder removed and holds a cat 1 medical. I've been trying to get a hold my med doctor but he's not returning my calls. Does anyone know of what hurdles you require from transport in order to get back in the air. Cheers. Guest G3
About five years ago I had a friend who had a gall bladder attack in flight, they diverted and he had emergency surgery to have his gall bladder removed. After about two months he was back flying, he later went Captain, so he has a First Class medical. I would doubt anything has changed since. I wish you good health. Kip Powick
Had my gall bladder out on a Thursday and went back flying on the following Monday. Had the laperscopty(sp) method of removal. I'm not even sure if MOT knew about it until I reported it on my medical pre-exam report a few months later. Probably not the way to do it but ...hey... I love flying, of rather "did". PS...Many individuals said I should have "milked it for a couple of months off.
