dagger
Well, shareholders and debtholders got it on the chops. Strangely, the Class A shares fell to 36 cents while the Common closed at 96 cents. The shares are all treated equally in a bankruptcy, so if someone were speculating - and it is a sheer speculation - that they can get something out of this - they should be playing the Class As. But you won't find me in there... way too risky. http://biz.yahoo.com/rf/030402/airlines_aircanada_debt_1.html
Guest GDR
Wouldn't it make sense for AC to go on the open market and pick up this debt at 22 cents on the dollar?
