milehighclub
I don't know about you guys but, for my part i'm kind of sceptical about the layoffs of pilots at JAZZ. The first Primary Reduction Bid was published January 24th; we're April 15th and still no lay off notices to individuals ( If anyone knows someone who got one, tell me...). Looks like the bean counters finally got the right numbers ! MHC
Guest PortTack
Plan for the worst, hope for the best. Who knows but Jazz (pilot's) only need 30 days notice and it's not as if the Head Clowns follow the contracts either.
Buzz2
60 days if you have 2 or more years.
milehighclub
60 days ? By the collective agreement; if less than 2 years = 21 days and more than 2 years = 30 days (6-1.02). Now, "the company should provide written notice to a pilot..." It has been done few months ago with the furlough list so... You could have a letter and 2 weeks to go tomorrow. Thats my understanding of the situation. If anyone has a different version; go for it. MYC
