Stickle Posted March 12, 2003 Share Posted March 12, 2003 Onex and Air Canada extend closure of Aeroplan sale to end of April Canadian Press Tuesday, March 11, 2003 MONTREAL (CP) - The closing date on the sale of a part of Air Canada's Aeroplan unit to conglomerate Onex Corp. has been extended by a month to the end of April. The two companies announced in late January that Onex had agreed to pay $245 million for a 35 per cent stake in Aeroplan - a price that could increase to $350 million if Aeroplan meets performance targets.
