For the next two days, Ingenuity will collect information about how well the thermal-control and power systems perform now that the small helicopter is standing on its own in the Mars environment. That information will be used to fine tune Ingenuity’s thermal-control system to help it survive the harsh Mars nights through the entire flight experiment period. Well that is certainly good news...There is no point in me taking a couple of my drones up there if they won't be able to cope with the weather, unless we can stick a parka or something on them.

I hope they don't open cross border USA/CANADA flying too soon.. Seeing my son and his family did not make to YYC last year for Xmas but they thought they would , I sent the Xmas gifts to YYC. If they can't get into Canada until at least late November/ early December, I won't have to buy them anything this year

Maybe Kip would like to install this on his floating home? No, not really...want to stay on top when going to the Mother Ship I was going for this.... But the budget only allowed for this........ but it does have stereo and other non essential toys, and an open bar......for the passengers?

Basically they should get an actual life...I will never understand why anyone would want to work past 60...unless they have to......perhaps several alimony payments each month ?. IMO retirement years should total over 50% of your working years, if at all possible. Anyone who feels their employer will really miss them, when they pull the pin, is living in a parallel universe.

NASA has a photo contest in the link above. You can choose one of their earth photos and see which photo gets the most votes. I couldn't find one I liked so found , in my opinion, a more appropriate picture. Probably won't win, but should get honourable mention...

Learning As I Get Older Looking for a specific video last night and I stumbled upon a “KAREN” video so there I sat and watched about an hour of “KAREN” videos. Some of you may remember that somewhere in this forum I asked what a KAREN was and another member enlightened me….but…..I did not know there are a myriad of videos on YOU TUBE of KARENs. Based on my short time there, it would appear there is one person that enjoys posting the videos and her name is SSSNIPER WOLF and the number of “looks” she gets would indicate she is making quite a bit of $$$ with her channel. The biggest compliant with her hosting so many of the videos is her voice….loud and ,to me, fingernails on a chalk board. Here is a couple of her videos (you may need ear plugs)…but the videos just go to show that “they” are out there

The original Super Guppy was in St Hubert back in 1966-68, not sure of the date, but two of us DC-3 drivers wanted to have a look see....There was a maintenance crew on board and we asked if we could look around...they welcomed us. No doubt it was pretty spectacular even back then. As we walked back in the cargo compartment I noticed one of the NASA maintenance guys standing on 2 bottles of acetylene and one of O2 that were lashed together and laying on the deck. He had a lit cigarette hanging out of his mouth ....we walked a bit faster to the aft ramp and off the aircraft;.?
